Long build but equally long and enjoyable playing time. This classic LEGO Star Wars model does what it says on the tin. Large, and enough room to fit all of the accompanying mini figures inside the ship. The model is great for long build fans, although rather technical at times so young children might find this model rather hard to build unsupervised. With 5 minifigures, and a number of play features such as the open out panels, the LEGO Star Wars The Last Jedi 75190 First Order Star Destroyer Toy is an all round good big build lego set.

Pros

• 5 minifigures which include: Supreme Leader Snoke, a First Order Officer, First Order Storm trooper Sergeant, First Order Storm trooper and a First Order Shuttle Pilot. Plus BB-9E, along with Medical Droid figures for that extra playability.
• Easy to follow instructions.
• Long duration of build time and high play appeal.
• Multiple play features.

Cons

• Level of difficulty makes the model unsuitable for young children (at least unsupervised)
• In terms of scale the ship is rather small compared with its accompanying figures (especially since the ship is supposedly a mile long in the film.)
• With 1416 bricks things, naturally, can get complex so the age range of 9-14 is about right.

Conclusion

The LEGO Star Wars The Last Jedi 75190 First Order Star Destroyer Toy is a large, complex and time consuming model. However, if you have the time and patience can be highly rewarding as well as enjoyable. The play value is rather impressive with hours of use in the model long after completion. A great collectible item too. Our recommendation is that this model is probably not suitable for young children unsupervised or for those with little patience! Saying that for fans of LEGO Star Wars or LEGO fans in general this is a brilliant gift to give someone. A real large build pleasure.
